3/30/09 08:00 am - 2B-CWC-RVOD and 2C-PRECIP-COLUMN released to the general science community

The 2B-CWC-RVOD and 2C-PRECIP-COLUMN products were released to the general science community and are available on the data ordering system web page.

2B-CWC-RVOD contains cloud water content (liquid and ice) retrieved using CloudSat reflectivity data and the 2B-TAU optical depth product.

2C-PRECIP-COLUMN contains estimates of precipitation retrieved for each CloudSat radar column or ray.
