The DPC will be maintained by a full-time System Operator and the DPC Manager. Both of these DPC staff members will work for Science Technology Corporation - Metsat Division under a sub-contract to CIRA.
The System Operator will be responsible for the daily operation of the DPC. The SO will work a normal M-F work schedule and will manage the staff of students who will work primarily during evenings and weekends to monitor the automated DPC system.
The DPC Manager is responsible for the maintenance of all software and hardware systems with assistance, when required, from the CIRA Research Support and Infrastructure groups. The DPC Manager will work a normal M-F schedule.
