The user will be given the options to:
| · | specify search criteria (ie. % cloud found in the orbit, %land/water, calibration vs. normal ops, etc.)

| · | create custom products (ie. choose specific fields from different Level 2 products and combine them into one output)
|
| · | create custom "locations" (ie. specify a geographic location and radius from that location to use as a search criteria)
|
| · | specify specific times or date/time ranges for the search
|
| · | to request only the portion of an orbit that falls within a time or location range
|
Once the search criteria are entered and data are located in the CloudSat data store, the data customer will be assigned an ftp address where their data will be placed for them to access (within a specified window of time).
The Data Distribution system will give the customer an option of ordering data in HDF-EOS 2.5 format or as a binary data file.
