AN-MODIS data arrive on DLT tape approximately once per week. The MODIS instrument is located on the AQUA spacecraft and takes a 2330-km wide swath of data. AN-MODIS data consist of a subset of MODIS data that is centered on the CloudSat subtrack and approximately 520-km wide (+/- 260-km). The CloudSat subtrack is offset approximately 215-km to the east of the AQUA ground-track at the equator to avoid the sunglint region.
