For a user from the general science community, signing up for an account will allow you to order data through the data ordering system. Science team members should also sign up for an account in order to access the "Science Team" section of the website, which will contain the 24-hour planning board for the CloudSat mission among other useful information.
You sign-up for an account by clicking the link on the homepage that says "Create an Account"
or from any other page by clicking the link at the top of the page that says "Log in".
