Quite often, the CloudSat orbit coincides with interesting weather observations such as tropical storms, hurricanes, typhoons, and other interesting phenomena. When CloudSat passes over something like this, we often compare the CloudSat Quicklook image with MODIS or GOES satellite images. Below you will find thumbnails representing events where we have compared Quicklook images with other satellite images. They are displayed with the most recent observations first.
